CNC Machine Shop Production Supervisor
The purpose of the CNC Machine Shop Production Supervisor role is to ensure execution of production or machining operations to produce products that meet established expectations in safety, quality, customer service, and cost. This position will report to the Production Manager but will interact with all required functions necessary to provide the shop floor with resources required to meet goals.

Scope of Position may include:
  • Immediate supervision and mentoring of 20 plus employees.
  • Maintain and oversee accurate production reporting for product requirements.
  • Oversees and inspects products and setups for quality conformity.
  • Maintain, organize, and oversee inventory of regularly used tooling and requesting tool/part orders.
  • Must be able to check calibration, read and use digital calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other measurement tools as needed.
  • Recognize when machine or production tooling needs replacement.
  • Oversee the training of new machinists or operators.
  • Works effectively to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Ensures that work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Report any unsafe issues to Production Manager.
  • Enforce lock out/tag out procedures as required.
  • Help identify improvements to processes and products within the machine shop.
  • Observes and enforces all safety rules in an effort to reduce accidents and injuries.
  • Operates appropriate material handling equipment, such as forklifts in a safe and orderly manner in an effort to reduce accidents and injuries.
  • Understands, complies, and oversees compliance with applicable company policies (i.e. attendance, Code of Business Conduct & Ethics, Company Handbook etc.)
  • Ensure that machinists comply with all applicable State/Federal laws and regulations (i.e. OSHA).
  • Demonstrates respect for all employees and managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm; Including 1 hour lunch. Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
  • Proficiency with CNC Controls.
  • Ability to use common machine shop measuring equipment (i.e., calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Understanding of general lathe and/or mill tooling.
  • General understanding of G-Code.
  • Experience on either CNC Lathes or Mills. Haas experience preferred, not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds, as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Pre-employment drug screening provided by Lokar.

Pay: From $52,000 a year
CNC Mill Machinist
Clean and Climate controlled automotive MFG company is looking for skilled CNC Mill Machinists and Operators to perform setups and/or operate multiple Mills in a clean manufacturing environment. You will work closely with multiple equipment setups and operators to meet production goals for the Machine Shop. This position maintains consistent flow and uses proper communication to prevent shortages or down time.

Scope of Position may include:
  • Safely setup and/or operate various types of machines (mills) without assistance and maintain proper tolerances.
  • Read prints thoroughly and ensure quality products based on specifications with visual and physical inspection of parts using functional measuring equipment.
  • Complete work tasks as indicated by work orders and production schedules.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Production Manager.
  • Completion of Inventory and Production documentation with accuracy.
  • Executing daily procedures while maintaining machine and facility cleanliness.
  • Work in a safe and clean manner by complying with procedures, rules, and company policies.
  • Cross training (Participate in both learning and teaching already known tasks/positions).
  • Other duties and/or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis.
Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
  • Proficiency with CNC Controls.

We are looking for skilled Machinists and Equipment Operators to perform setups and/or operate multiple Mills or Lathes in a clean manufacturing environment. You will work closely with multiple equipment setups and operators to meet production goals for the Machine Shop.   • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Production Manager.

Production Technician
Do you love and enjoy Classic Cars? We are a climate controlled and clean facility looking for skilled individuals to perform production tasks in a quiet environment. You will be picking components, gathering supplies, sub-assemblies, finished products, and packaging products. This role is an integral part to the success of Lokar.

Scope of Position may include:
  • Assemble and/or package all products according to manufacturer's directions and specifications.
  • Complete work tasks as indicated by work orders and production schedules.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Manager.
  • Completion of Inventory and Production documentation.
  • Work in a safe and clean manner by complying with procedures, rules, and company policies.
  • Stage assembled product in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Cross training (Participate in both learning and teaching already known tasks/positions)
  • Complete repairs as necessary.
  • Other duties and/or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary.
  • Hand strength required for hand cutting tools and various fastening tools.
  • Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and execute.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Manufacturing experience desired.
  • Pre-employment drug screening provided by Lokar.
  • One year warehouse experience.
